These can be either ear hangers or earrings. They are right on the cusp between earring vs ear hanger weight. They are equipped with hanger hooks for wearing through tunnels in stretched ears, but I can easily switch them out to earring hooks for standard piercings. Just keep in mind that they are on the heavier side and not ideal for sensitive ears.
